
Sabra Lewis's Bio
Sabra was raised in Scottsdale/Mesa Arizona, where she trained in dance from age four on. After making the move to New York City, she auditioned for the Radio City Rockettes and booked it! As a Rockette, Sabra performed in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for three years in major cities and at Radio City Music Hall. As a Rockette, she also did many workshops, public appearances, press interviews, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (NBC), and The Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting (NBC).
Once in New York, Sabra’s main goal was to dance on Broadway. She accomplished that making her Broadway Debut in, The Phantom of the Opera as an ensemble member and a “Meg” understudy. Her other Broadway credits are, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as a featured ensemble member and the National Tour of Monty Python’s Spamalot.
Sabra’s Lincoln Center credits include Camelot with the NY Philharmonic, staring Gabriel Byrne. Also, New York City Opera’s, The Most Happy Fella. Staring Paul Sorvino. Finally, Mack and Mabel with Hugh Panero and Donna McKecknie.
Sabra’s regional credits include Carousel at the Walnut Street Theatre, Footloose at North Shore Music Theatre, and she played the “Girl in the Green Dress” in Singing in the Rain at Regal Players. Sabra choreographed and assisted the director (Richard Sabellico) on a production of The Boyfriend at Penn State College. She also had the pleasure of working with Jason Robert Brown and Tony Stevens on the multi-million dollar industrial show for State Farm insurance.
In Sabra’s spare time, she models with two major print ads to her credit; Haagen Dazs and Papermate Pens. She also loves traveling, scuba diving, food, wine, and animals. Sabra is the proud mom of a certified Therapy Dog named Mabel. Mabel is a French Bulldog that loves to cheer up people in hospitals and homes.
